LIFT Myanmar SECURE Project Learning Workshop

MGMA joined the SECURE Project Learning Workshop was held on May 28^th – 29^th, 2023 at Inya Lake Hotel, Mingalar Ballroom, organized by LIFT Myanmar.
In the workshop, delegates of LIFT Myanmar gave opening remarks and overview of partner association’s activities. Managing Director of MGMA presented overview project activities during 2020-2023 and achievement of pilot model factory in Kyar Lay.
MGMA conducted soft skill training series of Merchandiser Training, Income Management Training, Industrial Relations in Garment Factory Training, Environmental Compliance, OSH (introductory and Advance level), Practical applied HR Management in apparel industry, Social compliance Workshop and MGMA staff’s capacity strengthening during project year of 2020-2023.
One of the main activities of Model Factory implemented in Kyar Lay factory since on 2021 with factory management supported by LFIT Myanmar. Then, panel discussion for beneficiaries of their success stories in training series of MGMA, success stories of Model Factory was held with Q & A session and presenting Model Factory Documentary Video. Delegate of LIFT Myanmar gave closing remarks and the workshop attended by delegates of SECURE Project, beneficiaries of MGMA members factories and factory management from pilot factory, Kyarr Lay Co.,Ltd.
