AFTEX’s 51st Council Meeting and 49th Plenary Session

Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association’s Secretary General Daw Khine Khine Nwe and CEC/ECs U Kyin Tun, U Thein Pe Win, U Aung Myo Hein, U Tun Tun, U Kyaw Soe Linn,Dr.Khin Khin Kyi, U Ye Khant, U Zaw Linn Latt, Daw Yin Yin Htay, were attended the ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries AFTEX’s 51st Council Meeting and 49th Plenary Session on 2024, June 5th to 7th at Movenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok, organized by The National Federation of Thai Textile Industries.

On June 5th, MGMA’s CEC/ECs joined business matching session and Daw Khine Khine Nwe joined the chief delegates meeting at Jim Thomposon House Museum.

On June 6th , MGMA’s CEC/ECs joined Trade & Sustainability Summit 2024 organized by AFTEX and STAR. On June 7th, AFTEX Emeritus Chairman gave opening and Chairman of NFTTI (AFTEX Thailand) gave welcoming remarks. Then, Daw Khine Khine Nwe presented about Myanmar country report and AFTEX members representing Laos, Malaysia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam presented country report respectively and AFTEX dinner joined by all AFTEX delegates.

The session attended by delegates from Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), Garment Manufacturers Association in Cambodia (GMAC), Indonesia Textile Association (API), Association of the Lao Garment Industry (ALGI), Malaysian Textile Manufacturers Association (MTMA), Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA), Confederation of Garment Exporters of the Philippines (CONGEP), Singapore Textile and Fashion Federation (TAFF), The National Federation of Thai Textile Industries (NFTTI).
