The 2nd Myanmar Textile Summit 2018 by MGMA in collaboration with ECV International Shanghai

The Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA) held the 2^nd Myanmar Textile Summit 2018 on 12-13 November at Sedona Hotel Yangon in cooperation with ECV International Shanghai.

The Summit focused on the latest governmental policies, international trading policies and labor law reform process on the Myanmar textile and apparel industry, sourcing practices and trends of international apparel brands. It also deals with the development situation of the Myanmar textile and apparel industry chain, EU view on Myanmar textile market, the main challenges faced by the FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) companies or local manufacturers.

It was a good opportunity for some potential investors/ international buyers and local representatives from different industries in related sectors and Speakers from government & international stakeholder were presented to this event.
