Minimum Wages Meeting

MGMA organized the Minimum Wages Meeting with its members to gain position paper for their collected voice of employers. This meeting was held on 18th, January 2020 at Mingalar Hall, UMFCCI. The opening remarks delivered by U Myint Soe (Chairman of MGMA), Daw Khine Khine Nwe (Secretary General of MGMA) presented about the background and reason for MGMA organizing this minimum wage meeting. U Tun Tun also presented the background process of a minimum wage rate when it began on. To become one voice from employers, MGMA would collect a survey from members factories to present position paper of the current situation in garment factories and it will present to the national minimum wage committee. The meeting successfully concluded with Q&A session from member factories.
