Labour Law Awareness In-Factory Training

Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA) organized Labour Law Awareness In-Factory Training, was held on April 21, 2022 at Honey Garments Industry Limited , supported by UNICEF Myanmar. The purpose of this training is to provide the soft skills needed industrial development and creating better workplace for garments workers. Firstly, Project Manager of MGMA Nang Phyo Pyae Zin explained the project’s objectives and then Labour Officer of MGMA U Min Soe Han presented Employment, Work Hours, Payment of Wages, Employment Termination, Leave Holiday, Workplace Coordination Committee (WCC) and Settlement of Labour Dispute with Q & A session.
Labour Law Awareness is one of the soft skills required by garment workers and the training attended by 21 participants from WCC’s Administration Department and Honey Garments Industry Limited.
