Promotion of Development Capability in Textile & Garment Industry for Lancang-Mekong Countries 2019 and Belt and Road Textile Conference 2019.
U Myint Soe (Chairman), Daw Khine Khine Nwe (General Secretary), and U Aung Myo Hein (CEC) attended Belt and Road Textile Conference 2019. This conference held on October 17th, 2019 in Shengze, Jiangsu Province of China. Belt and Road Textile Conference 2019 is an international activity sponsored and organized by China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) and The Sub-committee of Textile Industry, China Council for the promotion of the international trade (CCPIT TEX). This is the fourth time that participators from textile and garment industry inside and outside of China coming together to share the international cooperation experience in trade and investment area. With the theme of the Textile Together – A community Shared Future this year, the Conference established a platform for all attendees to exchange the future development thoughts and discussed the win-win cooperation opportunities in textile and garment industry under the Belt and Road Initiative.
U Zaw Yu Myat (Director, MGHRDC), Daw Nang Pyo Phyoe Zin (Junior Project Manager), and Daw Su Myat Htun (Instructor, Ministry of Education) activity participated in training program of Advanced Seminar on Promotion of Development Capability in Textile & Garment Industry for Lancang-Mekong Countries 2019 from October 9th to 17th, 2019 in Shanghai of China. This training aimed To promote the development and cooperation of the textile and garment industry in the Lancang-Mekong area, with the support from Chinese government, CCPIT TEX along with CNTAC planned to organize an advanced seminar. The seminar focused on the experience sharing of the industry’s development in the area. It also established a platform for the representatives of 6 countries to discuss and exchange the ideas and thoughts on the win-win cooperation of the industry in the area.
